The QMAP class for March 23-24 is cancelled due to the COVID-19 recommendations and restrictions. With Larimer County ordering all Assisted Living Facilities quarantined and Senior Programs cancelled indefinitely, I didn’t feel it would be the responsible thing to bring staff from many facilities together for a class. They have also banned gatherings of over 50 people, and 10 people for anyone over 60 or with underlying health issues. Since I have no way of knowing anyone’s age or health status before class, I just can’t chance contributing to the COVID-19 problem. We’re all in this together and we must protect everyone together. It is a very scary and difficult time for our clients and families, as I’m sure you’re all aware of.
